Hello dear campers, We look forward to welcoming you as our guests.

We’re Sonja and Bart, and we’re from Hoogeveen, a town in the north of the Netherlands. We’ve been living together for almost four years now. We met at a campsite. We didn’t know it about each other, but it was always a dream of both of us to start a campsite like this when we were younger. Our only problem is speaking French; we speak Dutch, English, and German. We’re doing our best to master it.

We are taking French lessons, on the computer you learn words but the best way to learn is to talk to people.

We were given the opportunity to run this fun, cozy, friendly, and welcoming campsite. We want to ensure everyone feels comfortable here. Whether you’re camping and enjoying a drink in your tent or enjoying a meal and a refreshing drink at the bar, we want to ensure our guests have a good time and that everyone feels welcome.

Our goal this season is to assist guests wherever needed. Whether it’s a friendly chat, a meal, or a relaxing moment at the bar. We want to ensure that whether you’re heading home or traveling through, you can look back on a wonderful stay.

If you have any comments or suggestions, we have a guestbook at the bar where you can share your story. We also learn from any feedback you give us. Of course, we’re happy when everything went according to plan, and if so, please let us know too.
